Oh, Barbie!
I'm on a roll, even though not many know I started this blogging thing. Ashlyn was upstairs playing in her play room. She was being very quiet. All parents know that when a child is especially quiet, he/she is up to something. I found Ashlyn in the playroom closet with scissors, "attacking" Barbie's hair. I really think she was trying to make it pretty (or it was simply something to cut)...probably the latter. At least it wasn't her hair this time!

Yesterday was Troy's birthday. Ashlyn was so cute....she put tons of "sprinkles" on "Daddy's cake". We talked about how Troy was 32 but Heather was only 25. (!) Ashlyn looked at me quizzically and said, "That's a secret or something, isn't it..."? (Smart kid knows when something doesn't sound right). Troy laughed and said, "Yeah, that's ONE word for it....". I told Troy & Amy that's what they get for having such a genius kid! LOL

I am so glad you joined the blog world!! I love to look at them and keep updated with pics and what is going on. Ashlyn is sooo cute and I can't believe how big she is! Foraker and I were just saying that we need to hang out soon... we joked that we saw yall more when you lived in Jersey than we do now and you are back in TX!
What a smart girl...already career oriented and coordinated with those scissors. Maybe she's going to take after her Daddy next time and perform surgery! Love you sweet girls, Pippi
Was that a 'pageboy' or a 'pixie'? You are so much like ur Momma. I look forward to you doing alllll those wonderful 'little girl' things so ur Mommy and Daddy get to have the FUN of parenting like their parents did. Good Luck! We will work on things you can do with pliers next time.
